There’s a new five-star boutique hotel in City Walk, and it’s pretty special…

Just alongside Level Kids and in front of Sephora at City Walk’s phase two development lies a brand new hotel –  La Ville Hotel & Suites City Walk Dubai. The hotel has its own access to City Walk from the rear, and features 88 guest rooms as well as 58 residential apartments.

Here’s the hotel entrance – hello clean lines…

So what can we expect to find there?

La Ville
Here’s the lobby cafe. At the back you’ll see a revolving bookcase. Behind it is a small delicatessen serving sweet cakes and miniature desserts.

It feels very different to most high rise hotels in Dubai, mainly because it isn’t one. In fact, there are only seven floors and 88 guest rooms, making it feel very cosy, boutique and personable.

La Ville
From this courtyard, guests can access the main City Walk promenade.

Guest rooms are spacious and adopt a relaxed vibe through neutral furnishings. Bathrooms are complete with marble counter tops, a free-standing bath tub and a walk-in shower.

There are four restaurants and lounges: Chival is the all-day bistro; Look up is the pool bar (perfect for sundowners); Graze is the gastro grill (currently only open for dinner during the week and lunch and dinner at weekends); and soon Grapeskin, the hotel’s wine bar will be opening (we’ll keep you posted as to when).

La Ville
Chival

La Ville’s all-day dining restaurant, Chival trumps most other all-day spots in the city. The breakfast options are vastly international serving everything from traditional English breakfast, to Shakshuka, sunrise Raman (!) and there’s even the Georgian khachapuri speciality, which is essentially an enormous cheese pie topped with an egg. Yum. Combine that good food with a great view and one of the only licensed venues in City Walk (right now), and we suspect it’s going to be well on everyone’s radar very soon.

Graze

It’s an excellent spot for tourists to stay because there is direct access to the whole City Walk development – including more restaurants and cafes, a cinema, and luxury shops – from the hotel’s rear entrance.
