Looking to nab a bargain on a secondhand sofa set or oven? Then you’re in luck as Dubai Municipality has announced it has completed construction on a new market that will be exclusively used for reselling used furniture and white goods.

Located in Nad Al Sheba 3, the 28,000 sqm space will be home to 120 shops and is designed to be a central location that residents and companies can flock to without needing to drive all over the city.

While no firm opening date has yet to be announced, it was revealed that the project will also include an external plaza, food court area as well as close to 800 parking spaces.

HE Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai Municipality, said in a statement that the project forms part of a larger effort by the government “to build a green economy and establish an environmentally sustainable city as well as to apply the highest standards of quality and excellence, in order to preserve the environment and society,
