The shopping, food and fun fair is back in just over two weeks…

Get excited: Global Village is opening its gates for its 22nd season from November 1.

Last year, the fair saw a record-breaking attendance of 5.6 million guests over its 159 days of operation. And this year is set to be even bigger.

Although we don’t yet know what changes have been made over the summer break, we’re sure there will be some new additions to the array of shows, rides, dining and shopping options.

Last year saw the introduction of three new pavilions, including the Far East, which represented the countries of Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Also introduced last year was the Algerian pavilion, and the Eastern European pavilion (made up of Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine).

Other pavilions include: UAE, Turkey, Jordan, Russia, The Americas, Pakistan, Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Morocco, Thailand, Kuwait, Yemen, China, Africa, Spain, Afghanistan, Qatar, Bahrain, Germany, France, UK, KSA, India, Egypt and Syria.

While we wait on the full list of updates to be revealed, here’s a look back at your best pics of Global Village last season.
