2. Dine at the hands of a world-class chef

Chef Heinz Beck, who has earned three Michelin stars, is back on the pots and pans for two days this December at Social by Heinz Beck, his signature restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria. There’s a specially created seven-course menu on offer set to take you on a culinary journey, with both wine-paired and non-alcoholic options.

3. Enjoy a free drink with a new gents’ night

Funky new fusion tapas bar Cuisinero Uno is launching a brand new gents’ night, ‘Broman’s Day’ every Monday. From 8pm, guys can enjoy a free drink upon arrival, as well as a special three-course menu for Dhs150.

4. Test your knowledge festive style

The McGettigan’s quiz night is getting a Christmas twist this Tuesday, with festive music, movies, picture rounds and questions. Hosted by Dubai 92 DJ and presenter, John Hayes, entrants can “spin to win” for the chance to win a variety of prizes including lunches, brunches, and amazing Dubai experiences. 6. Check out some art

In its final exhibition of the year, Opera Gallery in DIFC is showcasing two artists using different mediums in ‘Opposites Attract’. Running until December 21, the contemporary art exhibition will feature works from Pascal Haudressy, a French artist whose media includes painting, sculpture and video, and Austrian artist Alfred Haberpointer, who works with spruce wood.

7. Get 40 per cent off your show tickets
