Sponsored: Nine restaurants, including Nobu, Ossiano and Bread Street Kitchen, will participate in the massive food fest’…

Remember how Atlantis put on a special ‘night brunch’ in May? The entire The Avenues area was transformed into one huge food festival space.

Well, it’s returning this Thursday, and it will be mighty festive. Cirque de Cuisine: The Festive Edition will be on Thursday December 7, and will run from 7pm to 11pm (with a cash bar after party hosted in The Avenues until 3am).

Tickets are Dhs535 for adults and Dhs335 for children. All adult tickets include free-flowing bubbly and house beverages, as well as mulled wine (you can buy your tickets here).

What will be included in the price?

Well, there will be seats in all of the restaurants (but the seating’s not assigned), as well as high tables in The Avenues. People are encouraged to move from restaurant to restaurant, rather than sit in the same place all night. You will then be able to wander to any one of the nine restaurants, which will each be serving signature dishes at live cooking stations and buffets. The restaurants will only be open to brunch ticket-holders on the night.

There will be seven different bars to get drinks from throughout the night, including a huge ‘feature bar’ right in the centre of The Avenues.

How will it be festive?

For starters, the terrace at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen will be turned into a Christmas market complete with snow, picnic tables and festive games (yes, snow).

There will be candy cane stilt walkers, a festive choir singing under a giant wreath arch at the entrance and a huge snow globe from which you’ll be able to snap a selfie.

Also, the Lost Chambers Aquarium will be partly transformed into an underwater Christmas Grotto where you’ll be able to fill out a festive postcard and give it to Santa and his elves to send to a loved one overseas.

What food will you find?

Seafire will serve… Festive roast turkey and a beef carvery, oysters, a seafood bar and short rib donuts.

Bread Street Kitchen will serve… Mini turkey Wellington, truffle mac & cheese fritters, veal and fennel sausage rolls, mulled wine cured Scottish salmon and cheese and bread.

Nobu will serve… tacos, yellow tail sushi, black cod butter lettuce, beef tenderloin anticucho, a ceviche and mochi bar.

Ronda Locatelli will serve… truffle risotto, baby spinach salad, homemade ravioli, caserecce pasta with duck ragu and plenty of pizzas.

Yuan will serve… crispy seabass with sanbei sauce, steamed mantou with barbecue chicken, Peking duck with pancakes, steamed chicken dumpling and more.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium will serve… caramelised ‘smore’ marshmallows, French croissant toast, smoked nitro popcorn, freak shakes and roasted chestnuts.

Plus: Asia Republic, TBJ and Shawafel… the more casual outlets will be flinging up dim sums, dumplings, sliders and mini shawarma wraps.
