The British X Factor winner will perform a string of hits at the Jumeirah club this Friday.

There’s been no shortage of famous faces descending on Dubai in 2017, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for one more.

British popstar and X Factor winner James Arthur is set to take to the stage at popular Jumeirah Beach Hotel nightclub Mahiki this Friday, December 29.

The hitmaker, who won the British reality TV show in 2012, rose to fame thanks to his easy-listening voice and popular acoustic covers.

Fans wishing to catch Arthur at the Polynesian-themed club this Friday are advised to head down early. Table prices start from Dhs2500, or there’s a bottomless drinks deal from 8pm to 12am for Dhs200 on offer, too.

Arthur’s debut single, Impossible, was released after the X Factor final in 2012 and debuted at number one on the UK Single Chart.

It went on to sell over 1.4 million copies in the UK and over 2.5 million copies worldwide, making it the most successful winner’s single in the show’s history.

After a break from the limelight, Arthur released Say You Won’t Let Go in 2016 which reached number one in the British singles chart. It was followed up with collaborations with British band Rudimental on the hit Sun Comes Up, and American rapper Machine Gun Kelly on Go For Broke.

His latest release, Naked, has become his third top 20 hit.
