Because let’s be honest, we all love a bit of celebrity goss…

Dubai is fast becoming the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.

With so many A-listers (and B-, C- and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.

So in case you were wondering who to keep an eye out for when you’re down at Dubai Mall, we’ve thrown together a list of some of the famous faces in Dubai and the UAE this week…

Sir Patrick Stewart

Adrien Brody

Sir Patrick wasn’t the only star to swing by the Louvre over the weekend. Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, who was attending the Global Gift Gala charity event in Dubai, was also hosted by the Abu Dhabi art museum. The actor-turned-artist even took the opportunity to show off one of his own works.

Vanessa Williams

American actress Vanessa Williams was another special guest at the star-studded Global Gift Gala event in Dubai. She made the most of her time in the emirate, heading out into the desert with tour company Platinum Heritage. Here she is with singer-songwriter/rapper Anderson Paak, who was in town for Sole DXB.

Alesha Dixon

Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon also made an appearance at the Global Gift Gala, hitting the red carpet with partner Azuka Ononye. The pair stayed at the glitzy Palazzo Versace hotel, and shared this cheeky bathroom selfie.

Teyana Taylor

Kanye West protégé Teyana Taylor made her Dubai debut at Sole DXB, and from what we hear was a bit of a crowd favourite. The Harlem-based singer also celebrated her birthday while she was here. Many happy returns!

H.E.R

Singer-songwriter Gabi Wilson, aka H.E.R (which stands for ‘Having Everything Revealed’) also took to the Sole DXB stage, before heading out for a little spot of sightseeing. Rocking that keffiyeh, girl.

Frank Lampard

Chelsea legend and children’s book author Frank Lampard was in Dubai this week, and enjoyed a meal at the world’s highest restaurant, At.mosphere on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa. The soccer star is a brand ambassador for nanoM, a new health assessment centre on The Palm aimed at professional and former athletes.

BB-8

Star Wars: The Last Jedi officially closed the Dubai Film Festival last night, and the red carpet was rolled out for movie star and astromech droid BB-8.
