The 10-million square foot destination will feature restaurants, shops and luxury residences.

Dubai developer Emaar has revealed plans to build Emaar Beachfront, a new private island, as part of the Dubai Harbour.

Located between JBR and the Palm Jumeirah, Emaar Beachfront is set to bring ‘Miami-style living’ to Dubai Marina.

The private, gated island will be home to resort-style amenities, recreational facilities, play areas, restaurants, and cafes set along a promenade. It will also provide access to 1.5km of private beach.

The 10-million square foot development will also have 27 residential towers, with Beach Vista, a two-tower structure connected by a swimming pool, the first to be launched.

As well as some pretty picturesque views out across The Palm, the 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom residences will also boast uninterrupted views of new Dubai landmarks, Ain Dubai and Dubai Lighthouse.

Homeowners can expect to move into their new luxury properties in the latter half of 2021. The luxury residences went on sale on January 20.

Residents of the private island will become part of the 20 million square foot suburb, Dubai Harbour, that is set to become home to the Middle East’s largest marina, a huge mall and a 135-metre-high ‘lighthouse’ with a luxury hotel inside it.
