This weekend is your last chance to get those thrills and spills…

Heads up, fans of water slides and wave pools: Wild Wadi Waterpark will be closed over the next month to undergo its annual deep clean.

The Jumeirah waterpark, located between the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, says it will be conducting essential maintenance from January 13 to February 8.

The park will shut down completely during this time, and will re-open to the public on February 9.

Remember, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is also undergoing a makeover this year, and will be closed from mid-May to early October. But Wild Wadi Waterpark will operate as normal during this time (entry will also be free of charge for guests at any of Jumeirah’s other hotels).

Wild Wadi Waterpark is made up of 30 different rides and attractions, including the Wipeout and Riptide Flowrider surfing experiences.

There’s also a selection of death-defying water slides, an aquatic rollercoaster, and the largest wave pool in the Middle East, as well as a 360-metre long lazy river.

Wild Wadi Waterpark, Jumeirah, Sunday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, closed January 13 to February 8. Tel: (04) 348 4444. More info on website.
