Beefbar opens in DIFC, limited edition dishes launch at Black Tap, and a new menu with a must-try burger on it…

From wallet-friendly dinner deals perfect for pairs, to unique dining experiences you wouldn’t get anywhere else, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to dining out in Dubai.

And if you’re looking for somewhere fresh to head to this weekend, we’ve rounded up three spots we reckon you won’t want to miss out on.

From another new opening in Al Fattan, to a new menu at a laid back beach club, and limited edition dishes at Black Tap, here are three restaurants to check out this weekend.

The brand new: Beefbar

The second of two new openings in Al Fattan Currency House, Beefbar is set to become a meat lovers paradise in DIFC. The sixth outlet of the chain, the menu is built on simplicity and quality ingredients. Designed to share, expect top quality cuts of meats from Australia to Japan, served alongside over fifteen kinds of purees with a selection of spices & condiments to choose from. An additional space, the Beefbar Butcher Shop is also housed in the venue, which allows guests to choose and buy the various cuts of exclusive meat to take away.

Beefbar, Al Fattan Currency House, DIFC, Sun to Weds 6pm to 1am, Thurs and Fri 6pm to 2am, Sat closed. Tel: (04) 352 2223 Facebook.com/BeefbarDubai

The limited edition menu: Black Tap

Black Tap, Dubai’s most instagrammable freakshake bar, is celebrating its first birthday in the region this week and is bringing a limited edition menu to both the Jumeirah Al Naseem and Rixos Premium venues. Available until February 10, tuck in to the ‘Kickin’ Korean Burger’, a beef patty loaded with grilled pulled chicken that’s been tossed in a Korean BBQ sauce, served with fries and a Kimchi slaw. Or for a quirky take on classic comfort food, try Black Tap’s ‘Mac n Cheetos’, a bowl of soft noodles, covered in gooey American cheddar cheese sauce, and topped with Flaming Hot Cheetoss.

Black Tap, Rixos Premium, JBR, daily 11am to 12am, menu available until February 10. Tel: (04) 520 0000. More info on website. Also available at Black Tap Jumeirah Al Naseem.

The new menu: Riva Beach

For a laid back beach club experience, check out the new menu at Riva Beach. You’ll find a host of light bites, healthy salads and the must-try ‘Daddy Burger’. This monster burger consists of one pound of beef, cheese, lettuce, veal bacon, onion, pickles, fried egg and tomatoes. For dessert, expect Nutella and cream cheese pizza, or  a choice of a white or dark chocolate fondant, served with vanilla ice-cream and seasonal berries.

Building 8, The Shoreline, Palm Jumeirah, daily 7am to 12am. Tel: (04) 430 9466. More info on website
