It’s almost a new month, and with it comes plenty of new things to do. From a nostalgic 90s night to chart toppers and international acts, there’s some major concerts happening this month. There’s also top class comedy, ballet under the stars and a food festival. Plus, our favourite event of the year, Try Dubai is back at Barasti for a second serving.

February 2: Enjoy a nostalgic nineties night out
If you’re looking for a nostalgic night out this February, the Irish Village are throwing the bash for you. B*Witched, S Club 3, and Liberty X will all headline a night of British ’90s bands taking to the stage for the latest installment of Remix 92.

February 3 to 10: Find your zen with a wellness week
If you’re looking to keep your January health kick on track into February, The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery, the Middle East’s first holistic wellbeing resort is celebrating its recent launch by hosting a dedicated Wellness Week from February 3 to 10. February 8 and 9: See some superstar artists
Redfest Dxb returns this February, with two days of superstar artists set to headline the annual event at the Media City Amphitheatre. On Thursday February 8, American duo The Chainsmokers will headline, supported by US rapper Russ, known for tracks What They Want and Losin Control, South London singer-songwriter Kelli-Leigh, and French-Lebanese artist Anthony Touma. On Friday February 9, Kesha, Marshmello, Bebe Rexa and Craig David are all set to take to the stage.

February 9: Try Dubai!
Try Dubai is back for a second serving this year on Friday February 9. The free entry event hosts the city’s most popular clubs and groups, from yoga shalas and sports clubs, to comedy troupes and active apps, plus gives you the opportunity to try them out for free.

February 15 and 16: Ballet under the stars
Twelve world-class dancers from the Covent Garden Dance Company are set to perform an intimate al fresco show on February 15 and 16 at Desert Palm Dubai. One of the world’s most iconic prima ballerinas, Mara Galeazzi will headline the performance, to be hosted on the resorts expansive lawns.

February 16: Laugh out loud with the ‘U expats are funny tour’
The Laughter Factory will return in February with a new tour starring three international comedians. Canada’s most wanted female stand up Allyson June Smyth will be joined by Ian Coppinger, one of Irelands most respected comics. Completing the line up is British comedian Prince Abdi. They’ll be at Jumeirah Golf Estates and then Jumeirah Creek hotel on February 16.

February 18 to 24: Drink for Dhs5 at an inner city rooftop

February 21 to 23 : See some top artists with the return of the Dubai Jazz Festival
With the return of the annual Dubai Jazz Festival comes three major concerts to look forward to. On Wednesday February 21 it kicks off with 80s band Duran Duran, the 10-time award winning John Legend takes to the stage on Thursday February 22, and Latin pop legend Ricky Martin closes the show on February 23.

February 22 to March 10: Get involved in some foodie action
Cook food with celebrity chefs, vote for your favourite hidden gems, and eat lots and lots of food at the annual culinary extravaganza, Dubai Food Festival. Bigger and better than ever, expect pop-up restaurants on the beach, celebrity chefs, market stalls and a selection of the city’s finest restaurants will be serving gourmet three-course meals for a fraction of the usual price.

February 23: Celebrate the opening of a new Dubai super venue
Part three of an ever-evolving nightlife concept at Dubai’s Meydan, Soho Beach will join Soho Garden and Drai’s from February 23. An urban escape for day-to-night, it comes complete with luxury poolside cabanas for daytime, and a huge open air stage that’s set to host some of the best international artists at night. It’s kicking things off on February 23 with a day-to-night one day festival hosted by iconic Barcelona party brand, Elrow.
