Because let’s be honest, we all love a bit of celebrity goss…

Dubai is fast becoming the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.

With so many A-listers (and B, C and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.

So in case you were wondering who to keep an eye out for at The Dubai Mall, we’ve put together a list of some of the famous faces spotted in Dubai and the UAE this week…

Duran Duran

Legendary British synth-pop band Duran Duran jetted over from the UK this week to headline the Dubai Jazz Festival. As you can see, band members John Taylor and Roger Taylor (who, fun fact, are not in any way related) have quickly adjusted to the Dubai lifestyle.

Amanda Holden

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been enjoying some down time in Dubai on a family holiday. The TV star shared this cute snap with husband Chris Hughes, showing the sombrero-clad pair dining at Mexican spot Maya in Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa.

Emeli Sande

It’s not too often we spot any celebs in Sharjah, but Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sande was there this week, performing a one-off gig at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre.

Lauren Pope

Lauren Pope of The Only Way is Essex fame – a regular in our celeb-spotting series – is gracing Dubai with her presence yet again. Here she is hanging out at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa (which is quite the celeb hotspot, we must say).

Katie McDonnell

Ninja Warrior UK finalist and top parkour athlete Katie McDonnell was also in Dubai this week, using the city as her playground. Heading into the weekend like…

Klaus

Italian YouTube sensation Klaus, aka Tudor Laurini, has been spotted gallivanting about Dubai. He ticked off all the usual suspects – Burj Khalifa shot, desert safari, and the classic “look at the tiny Burj Al Arab” snap. Ok, so it’s not a classic, but it should be.

Jason Derulo

Ok, so In My Head singer Jason Derulo hasn’t actually been physically spotted in Dubai yet – but he’s looking for mates to hang out with while he’s here (he’ll be performing at Base Dubai in d3 tonight). Whatcha say?
