Credit cards at the ready, fashionistas of Dubai…

Just when you thought The Dubai Mall couldn’t get any bigger, it’s gone and added space for more than 150 luxury shops.

The long-awaited extension to Fashion Avenue is now open, housing a number of high-end brands including Gucci, Mikimoto, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Rolex and Cartier. There are also a few food and beverage outlets open, including Starbucks and L’eto.

Many more luxury retailers are set to make their Middle East debut in the new extension, according to Emaar Malls (the owner and operator of The Dubai Mall).

The Fashion Avenue extension can be accessed via a lit-up archway, located opposite Armani Cafe on the ground floor.

In between credit card swipes, shoppers can also enjoy the striking architecture, as well as a collection of art pieces from all over the world.

The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest shopping mall by total area, sprawling over 13 million square feet, with over 1200 shops. The mall will celebrate its 10th anniversary in November.
