1. Test your knowledge at a new quiz night

Feeling brainy? There’s a brand new quiz night happening every Sunday at The Rose & Crown to test your knowledge. The free entry quiz kicks off at 7.30pm and prizes include tickets to La Perle, brunch at ZOCO and The City Grill and plenty more.

2. Tuck in to a new business lunch in DIFC

We’re already fans of Crab Market, the new seafood spot in Emirates Financial Towers. And now the restaurant has just added a weekly business lunch menu for their offering. Priced at Dhs95 for two courses or Dhs135 for four courses, dishes include cauliflower carpaccio, burrata ravioli and market grilled shrimp.

3. Check out a new d3 destination

A new outdoor recreational facility has opened at d3’s Waterfront,The Block. Located opposite the Design Quarter, the open-air destination offers a range of different outdoor and leisure areas including a basketball and volley ball court, a skate park, outdoor gym, climbing wall and an urban beach. It’s currently hosting candy land themed The Miami Vibes Food Festival.

Tuesday April 10

4. Enjoy dinner by a popular Dubai-based celebrity chef

Rhodes W1 is hosting a one-off four-course set menu curated by legendary Chef Gary Rhodes this Tuesday. The dinner will see each dish paired with an organic grape from the Spanish winery, Parés Baltà from Penedes.

5. Work up a sweat at a fitness-themed ladies’ day

There’s another reason to check out Zero Gravity’s famed ladies’ day this month, as the ever-popular Tuesday event has had a fitness transformation for the month of April. Teaming up with NRG Fitness, expect a free hour-long workout each week. This week, it’s an ‘NRGetic’ dance class that kicks off at 11am.

6. Detoxify with a skinny spa treatment

There’s a new Sela Get Skinny experience at The Spa at The Address Dubai Mall. The 90 minute treatment starts with a detoxifying Gold Silk body scrub to brighten, improve circulation and firm. It’s followed by a full body massage with anti-cellulite lifting gel and mineral illuminating body yoghurt for long-lasting results.

7. Try your hand at a Thai cooking class

Spice Emporium at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi is hosting weekly cooking classes from 12pm to 3pm for budding chefs to try their hand at cooking up some authentic Thai cuisine. Available from Sunday to Wednesday, it’s Dhs300 per person.

8. Party at a rock night

Rock ‘N’ Baga is a brand new night dedicated to timeless hits from the 80’s and 90’s at upscale French Bistro Bagatelle. It’s an A La Carte menu from one of the city’s top chefs, Timothy Newton, with a couple of new specials to check out including R‘N’B Burger and a retro Banana Split.
