Fans of World Music take note, Iranian soprano Darya Dadvar will be performing her first concert in Dubai later this month.
The talented opera singer who is proficient in no less than 12 languages, will grace the stage at the Dubai Opera on Monday 23 April, performing songs in her hallmark style that effortlessly blends traditional Iranian music with classical, blues and jazz.
A native of Rasht, Iran, Darya currently resides in Paris where she regularly performs sell-out concerts in both Europe and the US, She is best known for her uniquely mesmerising performances that weave between English, French and Farsi dialects, setting her apart as one of the most innovative artists in today’s world music landscape.
