It’s open now, and it’s the only branch in the world that is open all year round…

We first learned that international brand Buddha-Bar was set to bringing glamourous lounge vibes to its new beach club in Abu Dhabi last summer, and now the famed beach location has finally opened its doors in the The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort.

Although several Buddha-Bar Beach pop ups open across the globe at various summer locations including Mykonos and Santorini, Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi is set to be the first permanent location.

Set on the picturesque beachfront of the St Regis Saadiyat island, the expansive terrace is covered by dappled canopy shades, and the wooden deck is broken up with whitewashed furnishings that look out over the beach.

There’s set to be seating for almost 300 guests, split between the outdoor terrace, restaurant, bar and lounge.

On the menu, you’ll find signature Buddha-Bar dishes inspired by flavours of the Far East which include a Wagyu rib-eye steak and the famed Buddha-Bar Chicken Salad. There’s also a specially-designed show kitchen which will feature a cevicheria, sushi counter, and robata grill where guests will be able to watch the venue’s chef prepare their dishes.

But Buddha-Bar Beach isn’t just about the food. Guests can expect a lively entertainment programme of sunset saxophone sessions five days a week, and a frequently rotating line-up of guest DJs.

For its first few weeks, Buddha-Bar Beach’s bar and lounge area will open from 5pm to 2am on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 5pm to 1am on all other days, with the restaurant will open for dinner from 7pm to midnight daily.
