It actually rained in Abu Dhabi this morning
Now, there’s something we don’t see every day…
The first day of Ramadan has seen rain showers over parts of Abu Dhabi – rare weather for this time of year.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) shared a video of cloudy skies and wet roads in the Mussafah area this morning. It also reported rain over Sweihan, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi Airport, Al Falah, Al Shamkha, and Mohammed bin Zayed City.

The NCM’s weather forecast says clouds are expected to increase over coastal areas, which may be associated with rainfall.
There will be highs of 35-38C along the coast, while internal areas are expected to reach 37-41C.
