Demoiselle by Galvin has launched a value lunch menu for the summer. Starting with a soup of the day, it’s followed by a menu of light summer dishes including smoked beef pancetta with crème fraiche, shallots & rich gruyere cheese and the Demoiselle club sandwich. It’s priced at Dhs53, and includes a hot or cold drink of your choice.

Mr Miyagi’s business lunch

Media One Hotel’s popular Asian street food haunt offers a range of Japanese-style bento boxes catering to the business crowd, for Dhs69. There’s chicken, sushi and vegetable options, and a recently launched salad selection which starts at Dhs49.

A taste of Kobe at Beefbar

Beefbar is one of our favourite new openings in the city this year. The steakhouse concept from Monaco serves up a daily offer (except on Tuesday when it’s ladies’ night), Taste of Kobe, which includes a selection of three items from the Kobe Street Food Menu and a drink for Dhs135 per person.

Afternoon tea at BiCE Sky Bar

Theres a new afternoon tea to check out at Bice Sky Bar on JBR. As well as a traditional afternoon tea spread of classic scones and finger sandwiches, there will be hot bites from live cooking stations as well as a selection of pastries to finish. It’s coupled with some great views of JBR, and an extensive selection of teas.

Early bird dinner deal for Dhs160 at Marina Social

For the early doors diners, Marina Social by Michelin Star chef Jason Atherton, has created the Early Supper. Served daily between 6pm and 7pm, the contemporary British menu of two or three courses includes highlights such as beef tartare with egg yolk jam and steamed seabass with lemongrass fondue and it costs Dhs160 per head.

With panoramic views of the city from its enviable 52nd floor location in the Marina, Observatory Bar and Grill is a great option for impressing visitors this summer. Weekly dinner deal at STK

JBR steakhouse and US export STK is already popular for its Tuesday ladies’ night and sellout Friday brunch, but the venue has now added a daily offering to please the party crowd. Available each evening from 6pm to 1am and priced at Dhs499 for two, guests can enjoy a 1kg rib-eye steak with prawns, served with a side of parmesan truffle chips and broccolini accompanied by a bottle of house wine.

Cosy Madinat restaurant Publique has launched a summer steakhouse offer that’s great for meat lovers. Offering a large selection of beef cuts on a special set menu, each cut comes with a complimentary drink, side and sauce. Cuts are priced from a very reasonable Dhs125.

Two course menu and unlimited drinks for ladies at The Scene

The Scene’s ladies’ night is well known for being part of the Pier 7 circuit (four other restaurants in the tower also have Tuesday ladies’ nights), but now the popular British restaurant is adding food to its offering. Priced at Dhs140, ladies can take advantage of a two course set menu and two hours of free flowing drinks from a selection of wines, spirits and cocktails.

Thursday Supper Club at Bar Rumba

Bar Rumba, now hosts a weekly Chino Latino inspired Supper Club every Thursday. Dishes such as sushi, adobe chicken with avocado purée, glazed sweet potato and crispy calamari are served to the table, paired with wines, beers and spirits. It kicks off at 9pm, with food served until 11pm and drinks until 1am.

Il Faro on The Palm not only looks adorable (it’s set in a little lighthouse overlooking the water), but it has a fab ladies’ night deal, too. This trendy Canadian saloon has introduced an alternative to the usual Tuesday ladies’ nights that is all about the food. At Dhs300 for two, receive a welcome drink, a four-course dinner and a glass of wine.
