The more than 50 pieces on display were made in collaboration by local artists and children with special needs…

If you’re in the market for a new piece of art to hang in your flat, then you might want to take a peek at the exhibition currently running at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery on the Palm.

The charity art project, dubbed ‘Little Picasso’, is displaying over 50 pieces created in conjunction with 18 artist-volunteers from ZeeArts (a leading art consultancy agency) and 20 special needs children from the Senses Residential and Day Care Centre for Special Needs in Dubai.

The motif of the exhibition revolves around the themes of “Happiness, Kindness, Love and Generosity”, with proceeds from every painting sold going towards raising funds for the Senses Centre.

Ms Zaahirah Muthy, head of ZeeArts said in a statement, “Ramadan is a time for reflection and giving, its resonates with all. This project echoes the very feelings of sacrifice and putting others before themselves. We were so pleased to see the children at Senses feeling happy, creative and inspired when working with our artists.”

The exhibition will run until Tuesday, July 31 and is free to attend.
