This cool Mexican restaurant is opening in Dubai Marina
Street food fans will soon be able to get their taco fix from La Carnita
Marina foodies, get excited, we’ve learned of a brand new restaurant coming to the Intercontinental Dubai Marina, and it looks seriously cool. Serving up Mexican street food with a Latino twist, La Carnita is a Toronto-born concept that fuses art and food.
Opening soon, La Carnita’s original venue was designed alongside some top local street artists – so we’d love to see the same happen in Dubai.
The menu is split simply into starters, salads, tacos and desserts, served up to share on silver trays, with a house taco on a daily changing rotation.
Although no pictures of the venue have been released yet, we’re expecting some bold street art, dim lighting, and exposed brickwork if their social media is anything to go by:

La Carnita originates from Toronto, Canada, but now also has branches in the US. Dubai Marina will be its first outpost in the Middle East.
The restaurant is one of two new openings coming soon to the Intercontinental Dubai Marina. Earlier this year, we revealed that LA export Geisha House, the Japanese restaurant, lounge & bar established in LA, would be bringing its upscale drinking and dining experience to Dubai.
Both restaurants are set to open this summer, and we can’t wait until we can get a peek inside.
