North Indian food with a view, juicy cuts of beef and the triumphant return of an old favourite…

Looking for somewhere suave and sophisticated to hit up this week for an evening of great cuisine with excellent company?

Then allow us to reintroduce you to a newly renovated old favourite of ours, along with a brand new flagship steakhouse and and fantastic deal on a delicious North Indian menu. One thing’s for sure, you won’t be going hungry.

Here are three new restaurants to check out in Dubai this week…

Multiple-What’s On award winning contemporary Japanese restaurant OKKU has reopened after a brief renovation period and now’s the perfect time to rediscover why it’s consistently one of our favourite dining outlets in the city. Combining cutting-edge service and style with a delectable menu that has us salivating at the thought of going back there, be sure to check out the return of their infamous Friday brunch from July 13 onwards.

H Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, daily 7pm to 2am. Tel: (04) 501 8777.

STK Downtown

The hotly-anticipated opening of the new flagship location of STK is finally here, and we couldn’t be more excited. Located at the chic Address Downtown Hotel, the internationally acclaimed steakhouse boasts unbelievable views of the Burj Khalifa and a trendy New York edge. Serving up cuts of tender, juicy beef is, no doubt, their speciality but the bar area offers an equally just as fabulous spot for an evening tipple.

The Address Downtown, Downtown Dubai, daily 7pm to 1pm. Tel: (04) 425 3948.

There’s nothing more British than Indian cuisine, which is why the North Indian gastronomy of Khyber is the perfect fit for the quintessentially British five-star hotel Dukes Dubai. This summer, the casual-dining outlet has a a cracking summer menu that, for just Dhs100 per person, you can tuck in to a mouth-watering 3-course meal while enjoying spectacular 180-degree Dubai Marina views. What’s not to love?

Dukes Dubai, The Palm Jumeirah, Sat to Fri 5pm to 11pm, summer menu until Sept 30. Tel: (04) 455 1111.
