And it’s going to open in less than two weeks…

Earlier this week, boho beach club El Chiringuito took to social media that it had closed its doors. However, we’ve got some good news for fans of the spot, as a brand new beach club is set to take its place very soon.

Called Playa Nomade, the home grown concept will open its doors on Friday October, 5.

So what’s going to be different?

Well, the chilled out, luxe vibe is going, and in its place we can expect a lively party spot with a stripped back, nomadic vibe.

Gone will be the mighty arches, flowers and oh-so instagrammable DJ booth, with Playa Nomade welcoming an all-day party with DJ booths taking pride of place on both the beach and poolside.

The beach club will open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 8pm, with extended opening hours on Friday night. Although exact details are still to be confirmed, Playa Nomade are promising a new Saturday brunch as well as a Sunday ladies’ day.

A day-to-night beachside party will take over Fridays, and the venue promises some big house acts over the coming month, which will kick off with Rony Seikaly on Friday October 5.

On the menu, expect a totally revamped offering. Highlights include a mushroom risotto, marinated beef tataki and a black angus beef tomahawk.

Playa Nomade is one of three brand new beach clubs set to open in Dubai in the coming months. It will fast be followed by the brand new Cove Beach, which will open in Caesar’s Palace Bluewaters Island at the end of October and Mykonos export Nammos, which is scheduled to arrive at the Four Seasons Jumeirah in Spring 2019.

Playa Nomade, Rixos The Palm, Palm Jumeirah, 11am to 8pm, Weds to Sun, 11am to 12am Fri, from Friday October 5. reservations@playanomade.com
