It is unclear whether the same dry period will apply to Abu Dhabi, as the announcement has only come from Dubai Tourism.

Both the public and private sectors will enjoy a day off on Thursday, September 13 to celebrate the holiday, which marks Prophet Mohammed’s journey from Makkah to Madinah.
