Aptitude Cafe has opened a branch in the grounds of the iconic art museum.

Coffee connoisseurs of Abu Dhabi will be pleased to know that a second branch of Aptitude Cafe has just opened in the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

The homegrown brand – which was one of Abu Dhabi’s first specialty coffee shops when it opened in Al Nahyan in May 2017 – has set up shop in the park of the art museum. The cafe is located outdoors, and we can already tell it’s going to be a hit amongst the Instagram crowd.

Aptitude Cafe brews ethically-sourced coffee beans from the likes of Panama, Colombia, Brazil and Ethiopia. They also offer pastries, desserts and healthy bites.

The new cafe joins the Museum Cafe, which is located inside the Louvre Abu Dhabi and, like the iconic art museum, was also designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.

There is also an al fresco rooftop bar, the Art Lounge, which serves up tapas-style dishes alongside an extensive drinks menu. This is currently closed for the summer, but is set to reopen soon.

Aptitude Cafe, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saturday to Wednesday 10am to 9pm (closed Mondays), Thursday & Friday 10am to 11pm. louvreabudhabi.ae
