3 fresh restaurants in Dubai to try this weekend

The recently reopened: Hakkasan
Award-winning Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan has opened its doors at Atlantis, The Palm. Found within The Avenues, the stylish spot is split into an intimate restaurant and glamourous bar, separated by carved wooden screens and lattices. On the menu, expect the same top-quality Chinese sharing dishes Hakkasan is famed for around the world such as the Peking duck, grilled Chilean sea bass and stir fried black pepper rib-eye beef. A Friday brunch will also be launched soon.

The brand new: Urth Caffe
Promising to bring laid-back LA cool to Dubai is Los Angeles export Urth Caffe, which has just opened in City Walk. The friendly, urban cafe uses all-natural ingredients, and is famous for unique coffees such as Japanese Tea Latte and Green Tea Boba. It counts Hayley Baldwin and Kylie Jenner among its fans in LA.

The new menu: Galvin Bistrot & Bar
We’re big fans of the food at Galvin Bistrot & Bar. Headed up by executive chef Luigi Vespero, it’s French Bistrot menu has had an upgrade, and now features some top new seasonal dishes. Highlights at the City Walk spot include a braised beef Bourguignon with pommes puree and Hermitage jus, as well as the Galvin Bouillabaisse with Gruyere, Rouille and toasted sourdough.
