Plus, you’ll be able to watch a top street artist at work…

Food truck fans, assemble: The food truck at Vida Downtown is getting a makeover this weekend, and to celebrate, they’re offering free sliders to the first 50 visitors.

From 6pm to 10pm on October 18 and 19, you’ll be able to watch Dubai-based artist Dina Saadi transform the food truck into a piece of art.

Saadi, who was born in Russia and raised in Syria, is known for her bold, colourful style, with her work featured on walls in New York, San Francisco, Amman and Cairo, to name just a few.

You might have seen her wall in the Dubai Design District:

Once Dina’s work is complete, you’ll be able to catch the new-look food truck every Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 10pm outside Vida Downtown on Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. As well as its signature delicacies, you’ll also be able to enjoy an array of dishes from the chefs at La Serre Bistro & Boulangerie, Toko and 3in1.

On weekdays, you’ll find the Vida truck parked at Emaar Square from 8pm to 3pm – the perfect spot to grab an on-the-go bite during the work day.

We can’t wait to see what Dina does with this unique canvas…
