Comedian Trevor Noah has postponed his Abu Dhabi show
The Daily Show host is suffering from bruised vocal chords.
Trevor Noah has been forced to postpone his Abu Dhabi show that was set to take place at du Forum on Friday, December 21.
The South African funnyman had already cancelled a number of international shows on his new stand-up tour, after suffering from bruised vocal chords last month.
On December 4, Noah announced on Instagram he was postponing all of his remaining shows for 2018 so he could concentrate on his recovery.
“I’m gonna be like The Rock but in a voice gym,” the comedian quipped.

A statement on the Yas Island website confirmed the news: “Due to unforeseen health issues, the Trevor Noah show scheduled for Friday Dec 21st at the du Forum has been postponed to a future date. We are working with the organisers to find the best suitable show date in 2019, which will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.”
The statement added that those with tickets to the event would have them automatically transferred over to the new dates. Those who wanted a refund could contact Ticketmaster directly.
