Sunday January 6

1. Watch the games with an all-day happy hour

The Hideout is Dubai Marina’s latest hangout, and every Saturday and Sunday you can catch all the sporting action from around the globe live on one of their many LED screens. Best of all, guests can take advantage of a buy one get one free offer on all house beverages from 3pm until midnight.

2. Catch up over a sharing platter

Head al fresco at Flair No 5’s seafood carnival this and every Sunday and share a seafood platter of shelfish for Dhs299. Designed for two to four guests, you can also add a bottle of house wine, and it’s Dhs349.

Monday January 7

3. Drift away at a ladies’ day

Located in the swanky One&Only Royal Mirage, DRIFT is described as a destination where “luxury beach chic meets casual simplicity”. There’s an infinity pool, 1km of prime beachfront real estate, and a restaurant and bar serving up Provencal cuisine and interesting cocktails. On Monday and Tuesday, ladies can enjoy a sun lounger at the discounted rate of Dhs100 throughout January.

4. Party hard at a ladies’ night

Ladies can enjoy unlimited free drinks until 1am at Toy Room every Monday. Expect a glamourous crowd and a live performance later in the night from American rapper, Ty Dolla Sign.

Tuesday January 8

5. Tuck into a new dinner deal

Seafood fans can head to Brasserie Du Park every Tuesday for their new night, Fisherman’s Catch. Every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 11.30pm, guests can tuck into an unlimited selection from the raw seafood bar, live stations, grill and dessert selection for Dhs225. Add free flowing house drinks and it’s Dhs325.

6. Bounce your way to your fitness goal

Fly High Fitness is a new trampoline and gymnastics gym has just opened in Dubai Investment Park 1, and it’s offering a 7-day free trial to residents throughout January. Plus, if you sign up at the end of the week, you’ll receive 20 per cent off membership packages. Inside, you’ll find a running track, trampoline facilities and a range of classes from CrossFit to martial arts.

Wednesday January 9

7. Tuck into a cheese and wine deal

This little slice of France in Dubai Marina recently launched a Wednesday cheese fest, Une Raclette a la Marina, where you can tuck into two hours of unlimited Raclette cheese (a big drum of cheese used for melting) served alongside a variety of hearty dishes. It’s Dhs159 for food only, and Dhs249 for the house beverage package including red and white grape.

8. See a film poolside

JBR beach club Azure Beach hosts its weekly movie night on the lawn of the beach club at Rixos Premium Dubai every Wednesday. Entrance is Dhs50 for walk-ins, or there are two packages available. The non-alcoholic package costs Dhs95 and includes a soft drink, hot dog or loaded fries and a bag of popcorn. The alcoholic package costs Dhs145, and comes with two house drinks (beer or wine), hot dog or loaded fries, and a bag of popcorn. Showtime is 9pm, so it’s recommended that you arrive at 8.30pm to get yourself a comfortable spot.
