Another chance to catch the stunning display…

If you didn’t brave the crowds and head down to the Burj Khalifa’s New Year’s Eve spectacle, you’ve still got chance to see it. Emaar has announced that the light and laser part of the New Year’s Eve show will be repeated until the end of March.

From January 1 to January 5, a shorter version of the New Year’s Eve 2019 gala will be displayed that will include laser, light and The Dubai Fountain shows. You can catch it this week at 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Then from Tuesday January 8, the same show will be displayed once per day from Tuesday to Saturday. A further two separate laser and light shows from the extensive LED display library of Burj Khalifa will also be beamed onto the Burj each night.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the shows will be at 7.15pm, 8pm and 9.15pm, and from Thursday to Saturday at 6.45pm, 8pm and 9.45pm.

The almost 10-minute-long New Year’s Eve gala saw over one million people flock to Downtown Dubai on December 31. The stunning display was themed on ‘time and progression’, and kicked off with an 8-minute display of visuals celebrating the heritage of the nation beamed onto the Burj Khalifa, followed by the longest Dubai Fountain show to date, accumulating with a breathtaking fireworks display.

The illumination of the façade of Burj Khalifa also earned it two additional Guinness World Records – for the ‘Largest LED-illuminated façade’ and the ‘Tallest LED-illuminated façade’.
