Whether you fancy a day trip to Ajman or you’re headed to The Dubai Mall…

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have recently launched six new bus routes, as well as improvements to a further route.

The announcement is part of continued work to broaden and improve the public transport system in Dubai, as well as expanding into other Emirates

New route E411 will run from Etisalat Metro station direct to Ajman, while route F02 will run between Etisalat Metro station and Muhaisina 4, and route 50 will connect International City Dragon Mart directly to Khail Gate 1 via Silicon Oasis, The Dubai Mall and Business Bay.

The other three new bus routes will only operate on Fridays, connecting Dubai metro stations to three destinations. Route 11B will run between Rashidiya Metro and Al Awir Bus Terminus, route 34 connects Etisalat Metro station to Al Brayan Labour Camp Al Khawaneej 2 via Al Qusais Bus station, and the final new route is route 56, which links Danube Metro station to DWC staff village.

Improvements made to Route F55 from Ibn Battuta Metro station to Al Maktoum International Airport will reduce the journey time from one hour to just 30 minutes.
