Don’t put your umbrellas away just yet…

It was a dusty start to the week across the UAE on Sunday February 3, with a scattering of rainfall visible across the city. But don’t go putting those umbrella’s away just yet – as more rain could be on the way.

The National Centre of Meterology (NCM) has advised that UAE residents can expect unstable weather conditions to continue into the night, with a significant temperature drop to come.

In a weather bulletin, the NCM also advised that rainfall is expected over scattered areas of the UAE today and tomorrow, Monday February 4, with the Northern and Eastern areas of the UAE likely to see some more rain.

Moderate winds will also likely cause another dusty morning tomorrow over exposed areas. There’s also set to be another dip in the temperature, with lows of 8 degrees expected in the mountains, and temperatures as low as 13 degrees expected in the internal areas of the UAE.

On Sunday afternoon, Dubai’s Global Village announced that the park would remain closed today and reopen tomorrow, Monday February 4, due to the ‘prevailing weather conditions’.
