Temperatures are expected to peak at just 22 degrees today…

Many commuters faced a cloudy and rainy start to their Tuesday morning across the UAE, and it’s sadly set to stay that way for most of the day.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), we can expect cloudy weather across the UAE on Tuesday February 12, with rainfall of different intensities expected across the emirates.

Several areas across Dubai have already seen scattered showers this morning, with heavier rainfall reported over the Al Dhafra area of Abu Dhabi. The NCM has also warned of a chance of thunder around the Northward and Eastward areas of the UAE.

And be sure to wrap up warm – temperatures are expected to peak at a rather chilly 22 degrees.

But it’s not all bad. The clouds are expected to decrease gradually as the afternoon goes on, although it’s set to be a windy day with a warning of dust blowing in over the exposed areas.

Looking ahead, the NCM forecasts cooler temperatures are set to stay as we go into Wednesday, especially by night and early morning. By Thursday, it’s looking like a fairer day with partial cloud and a chance of fog or mist formation in the morning.

And what about the weekend? By Friday, temperatures are expected to increase once again, although it’s likely to be a misty morning first. Both Friday and Saturday we can expect some partial cloud, but a much better forecast overall.
