Scherzinger will perform alongside This Is Me singer Keala Settle and regional stars including Bahrani-Saudi musician Rashed Al Majed, Iraqi star Waleed Al Shami and Emirati singer Hamad Al Ameri.
A global ambassador for the Special Olympics, Nicole Scherzinger is best known for her hits as part of girl-group The Pussycat Dolls, which included Don’t Cha, Stickwitu and When I Grow Up. She went on to enjoy commercial success as a solo artist in the UK with hits Don’t Hold Your Breath and Right Here both making it into the top 5 in the charts.
Joining her on the Special Olympics stage will be Keala Settle, the actress and singer who lent her voice to The Greatest Showman’s now iconic hit – This Is Me.
The ceremony will also feature the world premiere of the music video for the official song of 2019 Special Olympics , Right Where I’m Supposed To Be.
The artists will close the show on what has been a brilliant week of incredible sporting feats as athletes competed in 24 different individual and team sports.
Tickets for the closing ceremony are priced from Dhs60 from ticketmaster.ae. Doors open from 4pm with the closing ceremony set to begin at 7pm.
Tens of thousands of spectators attended the opening ceremony, which saw Avril Lavigne put on a stellar show alongside ‘Despacito‘ star, Luis Fonsi and legendary British DJ, Paul Oakenfold. So, we’re sure that the closing ceremony will be just as memorable.
