It’s easy to see why…

The UAE has no shortage of wow-worthy hotels and resorts, and clearly we’re not the only ones who think so.

Qasr Al Sarab by Anantara, on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, has just been ranked as the most Instagrammable hotel in the world by Luxury Travel Advisor. More than 35,000 readers voted for the stunning, five-star desert property, which sits on the edge of Abu Dhabi’s Empty Quarter – the world’s largest sand desert.

And it’s easy to see why the resort has clinched the prestigious award.

Hidden amongst the sea of rolling, flame orange dunes of the Empty Quarter, Anantara Qasr Al Sarab is one of the UAE’s best-loved, traditional Arabian escapes.

A secluded desert oasis, there are 141 rooms, suites and pool villas on offer, all decorated with traditional arabesque touches with endless vistas out across the desert dunes.

For the most exclusive of stays, guests can even reserve a Royal Pavilion out in the desert. Separated from the main resort, the rooms are described as ‘secluded desert sanctuaries’, each complete with private pool.

The more adventurous traveler can also try their hand at archery or head out on a Liwa desert oasis tour.

After a day of exploring, retire to the library, where you’ll find an array of reading material on desert explorers and wildlife.

Room rates start from Dhs1,094 for a standard room including breakfast. So, that’s our Ramadan staycay sorted…
