Nelly, The Proclaimers and James Arthur are performing…

The Dubai clubbing scene is thriving right now, with big names coming to town every weekend, it’s hard to keep up. This weekend will see Solomun throw a huge party at Soho Beach, Base will celebrate its second birthday with Tyga and Jazzy Jeff will spin the decks at Barasti.

Here are eight big nights out to check out this weekend.

Thursday: Nelly at White Dubai

Nelly will perform at White’ ladies’ night as part of their weekly Disturbing Dubai event. The award-winning star has had a huge number of hits across his 25-year career releasing a staggering 47 singles across seven studio albums. He’s most famed for his hits Hot In Here, Just A Dream and Dilemma, which he released with Kelly Rowland, which we can’t wait to see him perform. The rapper will be performing at White on Thursday April 25 and Drai’s on Friday April 26.

Thursday: DJ Luck and MC Neat at The Hideout

Garage legends DJ Luck and MC Neat will be taking the stage at The Hideout this Thursday. Famed for their hit tunes ‘With a Little Bit of Luck’ and ‘Masterblaster 2000’, the British duo will be heading to Dubai to put on a no-doubt unforgettable show for all garage fans.

Thursday: The Proclaimers at Irish Village

The Proclaimers are a Scottish music duo composed of twin brothers Charlie and Craig Reid. Most infamous for their unbelievably catchy tune ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’, but you won’t need to walk 500 miles to see them – they’ll be in Dubai on Thursday April 25 at The Irish Village. The brothers are currently on a world tour of their most recent album ‘Angry Cyclist’.

Thursday: Dany Neville and friends at La Carnita

Dany Neville and friends are throwing a college-style house party at La Carnita and its secret bar, Cartel, on Thursday night. The party starts at 9pm with DJ Sony and Travis getting you in the weekend spirit from the get-go. Make sure you get yourself on the Cartel guest list so you don’t miss the epic hip hop and urban tunes mixed by Dany Neville and Starting from Scratch from midnight.

Friday: Solomun at Soho Beach

Award-winning DJ Solomun will be back at Soho Beach this weekend to put on another epic show for his Dubai fans. No stranger to the emirate, the Croatian DJ has previously performed at Gotha and Eden Beach Club, as well as headlining Soho Beach’s party in December last year. The final wave of tickets are on sale via Platinum List from Dhs200 for ladies and Dhs300 for gents.

Friday: James Arthur at Zero Gravity

James Arthur will perform at Zero Gravity on Friday April 26th. British born James won The X Factor in 2012, before seeing his debut single Impossible debut at number one and go on to sell over 1.4 million copies in the UK, making it the most successful winner’s single in the show’s history. Friday: Jazzy Jeff at Barasti

Nineties legend and Dubai’s second biggest fan (after BFF Will Smith), DJ Jazzy Jeff will be returning once again to the UAE. The star will perform at Barasti’s Sugar Beach event on Friday April 26 alongside DJs Tom Ferguson, Scott Forshaw & Jack Harris kicking off from 10am all the way to 3am.

Friday: Tyga at Base

American Rapper Tyga is returning to Dubai to perform at Base’s second anniversary on Friday April 26. The Taste hitmaker has been making music for the last 15 years with no signs of slowing down. No stranger to Dubai, he was last here performing at Base in early December last year.
