Now’s the time to stock up on all your home essentials…

Amazon.ae has only been around for one week, and the e-commerce site is already making UAE residents’ lives easier with a huge Ramadan sale.

To help customers get ready for Ramadan, Amazon.ae is offering shoppers up to 60 per cent discount on all Ramadan and home essentials, including food and beverages, kitchen and cooking equipment, entertainment and home decor.

Enjoy a 30 per cent discount on brands such as Al Ain, Rainbow, Lipton and Bayara to stock up on your favourite Ramadan beverages and snacks, or upgrade your kitchenware with 50 per cent off home and kitchen products from brands like Tefal, Prestige, Black & Decker, Corelle, and Hawkings.

The Ramadan sale also extends to fitness with 25 per cent off health and fitness trackers, and 60 per cent off an array of perfumes, make up and beauty products.

Ronaldo Mouchawar, VP, Amazon MENA, said “Ramadan is a very special time for customers in the region and we are proud to offer them meaningful deals on a wide range of products during the holy month. Trends have shown us that online retail shopping increases during the month of Ramadan so we’re working hard to ensure our customers have a convenient and effortless shopping experience, with fast delivery options.”

The e-commerce platform bought Souq.com almost two years ago, relaunching as amazon.ae on Wednesday May 1, 2019. For the first time in Amazon history, Arabic language has been introduced to both the website and mobile app.

Customers with existing Souq accounts can automatically sign into Amazon.ae with their Souq.com credentials to begin using the new site. Pending Souq orders can also be tracked on the new Amazon site.

Purchases over Dhs100 will also qualify for free next day delivery, with some areas of Dubai able to take advantage of same-day delivery for a fee.
