Planning those trips for summer just got a whole lot easier…

Abu Dhabi residents planning a trip to the British capital this summer will be able to take advantage of even more flight options as Etihad Airways have announced plans to increase their daily flights between Abu Dhabi International Airport and London Heathrow.

Four daily flights will operate between May 26 and June 22, increasing to five from June 23 to September 28. It will be reduced back to four flights per day from September 29 until October 26.

Currently, the Abu Dhabi-based airline operates three flights a day to the British capital.

The move follows previously successful season changes for Etihad Airways, with an increase to flights back in December over the festive period.

Currently three Airbus A380’s operate between the capital cities per day. The additional flights will be operated by a two class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which has 271 economy seats and 28 business class seats.

For those who are traveling to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia, the flights provide easy connections from the UK, with more increased availability and convenient timings.

Passports at the ready….
