The Dubai clubbing scene is thriving right now, with big names coming to town every weekend, it’s hard to keep up. This weekend will see Mark Knight spin the decks at Soho Garden, Babiole will reopen its doors and Industrial Avenue will raise the roof with its weekly party, SESH.

Thursday June 13

So Solid Crew at The Hideout

Remember Lisa Mafia, and Romeo? Two members of the 90s garage/hip-hop band So Solid Crew. As it turns out, the crew are still together and they will be performing at The Hideout on Thursday June 13. The 21 Seconds hitmakers will be taking the stage alongside residents DJ Superfly and MC Charmer.

Babiole is reopening

Back with a brand-new look, Babiole in Habtoor City is reopening Thursday June 13. The three-storey venue has had a complete makeover and now comes complete with a Moroccan lounge called Mamounia. The lavish terrace boasts unbeatable skyline views, while the menu tempts guests with meat, seafood, and Mediterranean-style dishes.

Toni Varga at The Penthouse

Elrow DJ Toni Varga will be in Dubai playing at The Penthouse on Thursday June 13. If you love house music then make sure you’re on the air-conditioned dance floor to see the main man hit the decks.

Tim Westwood at Armani

Urban DJ, Tim Westwood, will be heading to Dubai to play at Armani/Privé on Thursday June 13. Expect tunes from the biggest hip-hop and urban artists from around the world. The radio presenter will also be at One Club, Habtoor Grand on Friday at 4pm.

Friday June 14

Maroon 5 at the Coca-Cola Arena

If you were lucky enough to get tickets to Maroon 5 before they sold out, get ready to party the night away at the Coca-Cola Arena, City Walk. The band will take the stage to perform their biggest hits including She Will Be Loved, Moves Like Jagger and Sugar.

Mark Knight at Tokyo Vibes

Another fresh bar on the nightlife scene, Tokyo Vibes, has a big night in-store on Friday June 14. Toolroom’s Mark Knight will be DJing at the Japanese bar in Soho Garden. Expect Ibizia-style dance tunes from 10pm onwards and there’s a happy hour from 8pm to 11pm.

Flipp Dinero at BOA

Head to BOA on Friday June 14 to see American rapper Flipp Dinero. The hip-hop star, best known for his 2018 single Leave Me Alone will be performing not one but two gigs on Friday and Sunday June 16.

Arnel Pineda at DWTC

Arnel Pineda will be in Dubai on Friday June 14, at the Dubai World Trade Centre to perform for a one-night only concert. Arnel, who hails from the Philippines is also the lead singer of Journey, the American rock band, but will be in Dubai performing solo.

wAFF at Industrial Avenue

Ibiza DJ, wAFF, regularly plays at DC-10, Circo Loco and Paradise but this weekend is all about Dubai. More specifically, Industrial Avenue, as the Hot Creations DJ will be taking the decks at SESH, the weekly house and techno night.
