This is an event Manchester United fans won’t want to miss…

Always thought that meeting your footballing hero was just a distant dream? Not if you’re a Rio Ferdinand fan. The Manchester United and England footballing hero will be taking part in a live and unscripted interview at W Dubai – The Palm on Wednesday January 8, 2020.

But as well as being present for an intimate interview, all ticket packages will include free flowing drinks and a three course meal. Fans will also be able to upgrade to packages that include a meet and greet with the football star, get professional photographs taken, and bid for signed merchandise in a live auction.

Tickets will go on sale soon, and table packages start from Dhs20,000 for a table of ten, which works out at Dhs2000 per ticket for the silver package. Full package information – including prices for Platinum tickets that will include a meet and greet – will be released soon.

During the evening, fans can expect to hear the 40-year-old retired footballer discuss the glory days of his glittering career, taking guests behind the scenes at Uupton Park, Elland Road and Old Trafford to give a real-life insight into what life is like for one of England’s best-loved footballing stars.

An Evening With Rio Ferdinand will be the first in a series of sporting superstar events brought to the region by Platinum Experiences. Previous events have seen stars including Ryan Giggs and Robbie Fowler take to the stage in the UK, and event organisers are promising a star-studded line-up of football, boxing and Formula 1 stars. So, we can’t wait to see who else gets announced.
