The ‘blood-curdling’ experience will run throughout the month…

Halloween is fast-approaching and if you’re looking for something different to do in celebration of the scary holiday, dine in the dark restaurant, Noire at Fairmont Dubai, has a thrilling option.

Taking what is already an experience far out of the norm (trust us!), Noire’s pitch-black dinner is now going a step further. Diners at the ‘haunted canteen’ can expect a fine-dining style three-course meal with drinks pairing, but you’ll have to rely on your taste, touch, sound and smell senses to try and figure out what you’re eating.

Based on the legend of a haunted hospital, which was supposedly shut down due to mysterious disappearances before Fairmont Dubai was built, Noire is promising diners the ‘creepiest (and quite possibly the last) dinner of their lifetime’.

The 90-minute haunted dine in the dark experience will start promptly at 7.30pm where you’ll be lead into the unknown by a nurse with night-vision. You’ll be assisted to your table – but everything after that is a mystery.

After the dinner, you’ll be guided back into the light where Noire’s head chef will explain everything you had… if you make it until the end that is. We’re told the featured menu is not for the faint-hearted and we’re both curious and terrified in equal measure.

Reservations for the ‘bone-chilling experience’ are essential and diners must arrive on time. The dinner costs Dhs360 with soft beverages and Dhs399 for the house package including three-course dinner.

Noire, Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road, October 1 to 31, Mon to Sat, 7.30pm to 9pm. Tel: (04) 311 8316. fairmont.com
