A new start to the week invariably comes with some well-intentioned health and fitness goals, but if you’re struggling to rustle up the motivation, you might just find it at one of these cool group bootcamp sessions.

Barry’s Bootcamp

A worldwide fitness institution, Barry’s Bootcamp has been around in Dubai for a while and trust us, it’s not for the fainthearted. The high-intensity interval training classes will have you working up a serious sweat and burning those calories. With locations in both Dubai Marina and DIFC, single classes are priced from Dhs125 or you can bulk buy five classes for Dhs605.

TribeFit

If you’re looking for a bootcamp-style gym with tons of different classes to try then TribeFit is a pretty safe bet with over 30 classes for you to find your groove. They include body pump, body combat, RPM, yoga, pilates, boxing, kickboxing TOA (The Outdoor Athlete) and FBF. TribeFit pride themselves on being socially active, promoting a community vibe between members and organise brunches, coffee mornings, movie nights and camping trips so you might get more than just rock hard abs. LJS Fitness

The cooler weather means exercising outside is finally a thing again and LJS Fitness bootcamp will see you put through your paces at Zero Gravity’s cool outdoor gym. With around 8 to 10 people in a class, it’s a less intimidating bootcamp than some of the more intense ones and a great way to meet new people. The class takes around 45 minutes and you’ll do cardio with some circuits thrown in there as well as paired ab workouts.

Power Cycle

If spin classes are your thing, you’ll need to add Power Cycle to your list of places to try in Dubai. Fast, energetic and upbeat, your progress will be shown on the screen in front of you which will have you pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to ensure you aren’t the last in the class. You’ll even get a free fitness test at the start too, which will show you how your fitness is progressing week on week.

FBC DXB

FBC DXB have a serious approach to fitness with huge group classes designed to get you fit, healthy and achieve your goals. They’ve got numerous gyms around Dubai but now the weather has cooled down, they conduct loads of their classes outside – the most well-known being the one at Kite Beach. One session is Dhs70 or you could opt for an unlimited monthly package from Dhs600.
