Petrol prices in November are at their lowest since March 2019…

It’s happy days for UAE drivers – paying for petrol is about to get a lot kinder on the purse strings as November will see the lowest petrol prices since March this year.

In November, prices will drop to Dhs2.20 per litre for Super 98, down from Dhs2.24 in October. Special 95 will be priced at Dhs2.09 a litre, down 3 fils from Dhs2.12 last month.

Diesel prices will drop back down to Dhs2.38, the same as it was in September, down from Dhs2.41 in October.

All prices include the VAT rate of 5 per cent.

The UAE’s Ministry of Energy first began setting fuel prices based on average global prices in August 2015. Before that, the price of petrol in the UAE was subsidised by the government, which shielded consumers from global fluctuations in the cost of petrol.
