British heavy metal band Iron Maiden are set to bring their worldwide Legacy of the Beast tour to Dubai next year.

The legendary band will take to the stage at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk on Wednesday May 27, 2020.

A stalwart band on the heavy metal scene, Iron Maiden formed in 1975 and have been performing and releasing music for more than 40 years. They began their Legacy of the Beast tour back in 2018, and it’s already been seen by more than 2 million heavy metal fans around the world.

When it arrives in Dubai, fans can expect to enjoy an audio visual trip down memory lane, with the band playing some of their most famous hits including The Trooper, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Fear of the Dark and The Number of the Beast, as well as some of their lesser-known tracks.

The five-piece band, lead by founding member Steve Harris, last performed to a sold out crowd in Dubai in 2009, having previously only performed once before in the city in 2007, headlining the Dubai Desert Rock Festival.

They’re the second act to confirm a 2020 gig at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in 2020, and will perform a month after One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson makes his solo debut in the city.
