“UAE is a land of opportunity, a land where dreams are realised. This is our story that deserves to be told to the world…”

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have announced plans to launch a new national project to share the UAE’s story with the world.

The UAE rulers said that they would bring together a team of 49 Emirati artists, 7 from each emirate, to create a new national brand logo for the UAE. Sheikh Mohammed said that the new identity would be introduced before the end of 2019 to mark the beginning of a new decade.

“As long as our identity is strong and influential in the media in such a way that reflects our experience, we can motivate millions to be inspired by our development drive. UAE is a land of opportunity, a land where dreams are realised. This is our story that deserves to be told to the world,” Sheikh Mohammed added.

Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince added that the UAE “exemplifies a bold success story and an inspiring journey of development that surpassed its geographical boundaries and became a role model for other countries to follow”.

Once launched, the logo will be used both at home and abroad to market and promote the UAE.

In a video posted across his social media channels, Sheikh Mohammed referenced successful national brand campaigns from countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and India.
