1. Indulge in a festive high tea
Head to Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi where a festive high tea awaits. 3. Get your sweat on in the Ride for Zayed cycling event
The second annual Ride for Zayed will take place from 8am to 12.30pm on Friday where cyclists are invited to complete up to 101 kilometers, or any distance of their choosing. The event first took place last year, where cyclist had to cycle 100 kilometers in celebration of the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who would have been 100 years of age. There will be a limited number of complimentary cycles and helmets available – but riders are encouraged to bring their own. The event will be held at Al Hudayriat Island. To register, head here.

4. Take a photography class
This Photography Level 2 workshop will be conducted by Kathleen Hoare of Gulf Photo Plus, and will teach you how to go on full manual mode for that next sunset or skyline shot. You will learn about HDR, panning, long exposure to allow you to capture shots exactly how the human eye sees it. Participants will also learn how to correctly use flash, read histograms, and play with light painting. You need to book your space for the class here and it costs Dhs595.

5. Breakfast at AT25 in Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi’s tallest outdoor rooftop lounge is now serving breakfast every Friday and Saturday from 9am until 3pm. You will also gain access to the rooftop pool as you enjoy stunning views of the Capital’s city scape. Dishes on the a la carte menu include smokey salmon, delicious Nutella pancakes, crunchy French toast, grilled banana and toasted brioche to fresh fruit salads to name a few.
6. Dine at Namak by Kunal Kapur
In the mood for a delicious hearty Indian meal? Consider award winning Indian restaurant, Namak, by celebrity chef Kunal Kapur at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi. Every Saturday, they host a relaxed Saturday brunch where you can tuck into an extensive menu of restaurant signatures from 12.30pm to 4pm.
