Snapped: Celebrities spotted in the UAE this week

With so many A-listers (and B, C and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.

So from Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike’s huge performance at LUVYA festival to Akon’s day out at the beach, here are all the celebrities we’ve spotted in the UAE this week…

Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike

Global DJ duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike headlined the inaugural LUVYA festival at FIVE Palm Jumeirah this weekend. The pair shared a photo from their huge beachside set, likening it to New Year’s Eve.

Lost Frequencies

Belgian DJ and musician Lost Frequencies was also performing at LUVYA over the weekend. While he was here, he enjoyed some downtime at the hotel’s new pool before jetting off to China for another festival.

Craig David

British singer and rapper Craig David took the stage at LUVYA on Saturday night, playing his much loved TS5 set on the main stage.

Akon

Superstar singer Akon was back in Dubai recently and enjoyed a day at the newly-opened White Beach. He even shared a snap thanking the Atlantis, The Palm beach club and encouraging fans to try his namesake sundae there.

Charlotte Crosby and Sophie Kasaei

Two of the Geordie Shore cast members were in Dubai to check out LUVYA festival. The pair stayed at FIVE Palm Jumeirah while they were here.

Fernando Alonso

F1 driver Fernando Alonso has been in Abu Dhabi enjoying a few days in the desert. He also headed to Dubai to check out the Autodrome in Motor City.

Dave East

American rapper Dave East was in Dubai performing at Sole DXB and Drai’s DXB. He also visited the animals at Fame Park and rode buggies in the sand dunes.

Kylie Minogue

International pop star Kylie Minogue performed at the Dubai Rugby Sevens last week, closing the weekend with a huge headline set.

Swae Lee

American singer and rapper Swae Lee is in Dubai for a performance at nightclub BASE over the weekend, with another one at 1Oak on Sunday December 15.

AJ Odudu

British TV presenter AJ Odudu has been enjoying a vacation in Dubai. While she was here, she rode jet skis around Burj Al Arab and dune buggies in the desert.
