The firework display is one of the many reasons people visit Global Village apart from shopping and tucking into some delicious food…

On February 4, Global Village had announced that all live entertainment and fireworks were suspended as per the requirements made by the Dubai Government.

Now nearly a month later, the park has released an announcement stating that fireworks will be returning to light up the night skies for the final weeks of the Jubilee Season.

The fireworks will make their dramatic return on Thursday, March 4 – making it a perfect way to celebrate the start of the weekend with your friends and family.

The fireworks will take place every Thursday and Friday at 9pm, so don’t worry if you already have plans in your diary for this weekend.

While you’re there, don’t forget to witness the other entertainment that includes the Stunt Show, the ever-popular Carnaval and many other attractions.

Global Village tickets and timings

Tickets to Global Village will cost Dhs15 this year. Entry will be free for children under three, people of determination, and seniors aged 65 and above. Tickets can be purchased here where you can also purchase tickets for the attractions ahead of time.

The park operates daily but the timing varies, so take note. From Saturday to Wednesday, the park is open from 4pm to 12am and on Thursday and Friday, it is open from 4pm to 1am.

Mondays are dedicated family days, open to families and women only. If a public holiday happens to fall on a Monday, the park will be open to all visitors.
