Sponsored: Chalet 105 is the cosiest spot to book a table at this February…

Missing the snow-topped peaks of the alps, cosy evenings by the fire and evenings spent feasting on fondue? It’s your last chance to experience a taste of Dubai’s finest winter experience this February.

Chalet 105 is the stunning ski chalet pop-up at La Cantine du Faubourg in collaboration with Montblanc, the luxury European Maison that takes its name from the snowcapped mountain in the Alps and Western Europe.

The decor is all about creating the most inviting alpine experience, with vintage furniture in dark brown hues, soft leathers and furry rugs, skis adorning the walls and a lovely flickering fireplace that creates the perfect festive ambience.

For dinner, guests are treated to a Savoie-inspired menu – an ode to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of Southeastern France, known for its warming dishes such as a classic fondue and gooey raclette. There’s four courses in total, and the experience begins with a welcome drink of a French mulled wine called Vin Chaud, followed by a choice of French onion soup or truffled chestnut soup.

Next up you’ll enjoy fondue Savoyarde, melted cheese accompanied with bread, green salad as well as melted raclette cheese accompanied with green salad, potatoes, pickles with a charcuterie platter. For vegetarians, there’s a meat-free option available too, ensuring everyone is catered to.

You’ll want to save room for dessert, where fondue fans are in for a treat: a heartwarming chocolate fondue bubbles away for guests to dunk skewers of fresh fruit, sweets and marshmallows inside.

The festive dining experience is priced from Dhs400, and can be booked as individual tables or the whole chalet can be hired out, perfect for a cosy evening celebrating a birthday, special occasion or corporate event.
