There’s no denying that summer is on its way, but just before it arrives, Zero Gravity has a very special gig planned that you’re not going to want to miss. Legendary DJ Fatboy Slim will be returning to Dubai for the first time since he headlined Party in the Park in 2019.

Taking place on Friday May 20, 2022, Zero Gravity’s popular DXBeach is back with another huge party on the sand. The doors open from 10am, with a pool and beach brunch that includes unlimited food and drinks from 1pm to 5pm. After 5pm the venue will start to fill up with party-goers keen to pick the perfect spot on the sand in front of the huge stage. Resident DJs and live entertainment will build the atmosphere before the iconic headliner will take to the stage around 10pm.

Last time he visited Dubai, Fatboy Slim told What’s On: “I love coming back to Dubai and it’s nice because you build up a rapport and a reputation with people. There’s a few places in the world that I do like coming back to again and again and Dubai is a very unique environment, mainly because of its expat community all living in a very beautiful but very new and young city.”

Tickets start from Dhs149 for early birds, Dhs199 for the second release, and Dhs249 for the third release – this is your cue to get in there quick. For the brunch package it’s Dhs399, which includes your entrance ticket to the main event in the evening. Tickets are available from PlatinumList.net.

Fatboy Slim (real name Norman Cook) has been in the music business for four decades, and is hailed as being responsible for bringing the ‘big beat’ genre to the forefront in the nineties. Starting out as a bassist in Indie band, The Housemartins, Cook achieved a number one single before transitioning into electronic music and picking up the stage name Fatboy Slim in 1996.

Since then he’s gone on to release huge hits such as Right Here, Right Now, Praise You and The Rockafeller Skank. Fatboy Slim continued to dominate the dance scene in recent years to deliver anthems including Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat and All the Ladies.
