Get ready for the belly laughs…

In a season of big comedy events, we have more news for fans of stand-up, live podcasts and non-stop laughs. British comedians Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe are set to perform in Dubai, bringing their hilarious podcast Parenting Hell to Dubai Opera on Monday July 3.

With nearly 50 million downloads, the chart-topping podcast has seen them discuss the highs and lows of parenting (and life). From the stresses of sleep deprivation to building a trampoline in the dark, the pandemic-born show is loved for its side-splitting relatable content.

The event is brought to us by GME Events in association with Dubai Summer Surprises, which kicks off on June 29. The annual shopping and entertainment event will run until September 9, showcasing exclusive shopping deals, daily surprises, thrilling competitions and shop-and-win promotions.

Tickets are available now from Dubai Opera, PlatinumList, Ticketmaster and Virgin Megastores, priced from Dhs295.

Can’t wait until then to get your giggle fix? Dubai Comedy Festival is running from May 12 to 21. Top names on the line-up include Dara O’Briain, Jimmy Carr Jim Jefferies and Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally from the hit podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me.

The event returns to Dubai for its third edition this year for 10 side-splitting days from Friday, May 12 to 21, 2023 and it is going to be bigger and better than before. Tickets start from Dhs200 and you can get your tickets here. The main gigs will take place across a number of popular venues in Dubai including Dubai Opera, The Theatre Mall of the Emirates, the Coca-Cola Arena and more.
